Description
Digitally Staging Social Justice: The Intersection of Identities and Theatre, explores the dynamic bridging of social justice issues relating closely to identities such as Race, Gender, Sexuality, Ethnicity, and Disability, through the art form of live theatre and musicals. This creative project includes an actor website, that is a career tool, crafted with a plethora of tabs. Some examples include, "Resources+" and "Media"-these specific tabs help support and amplify the voices of marginalized communities by the power of storytelling, presentational media, and external resources. Along with the website, there is an Artist Statement that includes the story, process, and references to scholarly work that influenced the cultivation of this project that will be utilized as a tool for social change through a multitude of both performative and scripted narratives.
