Autonomous vehicles (AV) are capable of producing massive amounts of real time and precise data. This data has the ability to present new business possibilities across a vast amount of markets. These possibilities range from simple applications to unprecedented use cases. With this in mind, the three main objectives we sought to accomplish in our thesis were to: 1. Understand if there is monetization potential in autonomous vehicle data 2. Create a financial model of what detailing the viability of AV data monetization 3. Discover how a particular company (Company X) can take advantage of this opportunity, and outline how that company might access this autonomous vehicle data.

The purpose of this project was to promote financial literacy amongst individuals in their 20s and empower them to take control of their finances. Statistics show society is lacking the financial knowledge to create a successful future and be able to one day retire debt free. My research details that by starting in your 20s and aiming for five simple, yet effective, goals one will be able to launch their success and do so reasonably. The thesis presentation details each of the five goals and outlines how to achieve each.

Through findings from interviews, a survey, and personally learning automation software we think automation will continue to grow in the accounting industry in the coming years. Accountants see software as something that makes them more efficient and firms are doing a good job training their employees on how to use these new software tools. Our interviewed accountants say that automation saves them time that can be used to work on other things. By learning Alteryx, an automation tool, we saw these time savings firsthand.
