It outlines their current circumstances and their struggles with land loss, food scarcity, development and conflict with other ethnic groups. In addition to exploring the complexities faced by indigenous peoples in a developing country, this paper also explores possible sustainable solutions in moving forward, in particular, the attainment of land rights and involvement in the tourism industry.
