We have not fully explored what biology has to offer us in AI research, and this paper explores aspects of intelligent behavior in nature that machines still struggle with.

Brains and computers have been interacting since the invention of the computer. These two entities have worked together to accomplish a monumental set of goals, from landing man on the moon to helping to understand how the universe works on the most microscopic levels, and everything in between. As the years have gone on, the extent and depth of interaction between brains and computers have consistently widened, to the point where computers help brains with their thinking in virtually infinite everyday situations around the world. The first purpose of this research project was to conduct a brief review for the purposes of gaining a sound understanding of how both brains and computers operate at fundamental levels, and what it is about these two entities that allow them to work evermore seamlessly as the years go on. Next, a history of interaction between brains and computers was developed, which expanded upon the first task and helped to contribute to visions of future brain-computer interaction (BCI). The subsequent and primary task of this research project was to develop a theoretical framework for a potential brain-aiding device of the future. This was done by conducting an extensive literature review regarding the most advanced BCI technology in modern times and expanding upon the findings to argue feasibility of the future device and its components. Next, social predictions regarding the acceptance and use of the new technology were made by designing and executing a survey based on the Unified Theory of the Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). Finally, general economic predictions were inferred by examining several relationships between money and computers over time.

In our society, technology has found itself as the root cause of a certain level of modernization. It wasn’t long ago when people heavily depended on bank tellers to complete cash transactions at a bank. Now however, much of the bank teller’s job has been automated in the form of ATM’s and electronic kiosks at drive through lanes. Automation is the current trend, and more departments are going to experience it. To those wondering which area or department may be hit next by a wave of technological automation, the answer is quite simple: CRM. In its raw form, CRM, which stands for Customer Relationship Management, is a “system for managing your relationships with customers” (Hubspot). Essentially, it is a software intended to help companies maintain strong relationships with their customers, customers being a critical part of the process. A good CRM system should benefit both the business and the customer. However, this is easier said than done, making the million dollar question the following: how can CRM systems be improved to truly benefit both the business and the customer? This paper will demonstrate that the answer is quite simple: automation. Through secondary research, as well as interviews conducted with various business professionals, I will demonstrate that automation and integration can make the process much more efficient and can erase a lot of errors in the process. Automation is the future of business, and this fact is not any less true in the CRM field.

The rapid expansion of artificial intelligence has propelled significant growth in the GPU market. In the evolving data center landscape, Company X faces challenges due to its lag in entering the GPU market, which jeopardizes its competitive advantage against industry players like Nvidia and AMD. To address these issues, our thesis aims to analyze market dynamics between CPUs and GPUs-whether they present distinct markets or compete against each other. We seek to guide Company X in maximizing profitability and sustaining its pivotal role in the semiconductor industry amidst the AI revolution. Specifically, we discuss optimizing their GPU offering, Falcon Shores, towards specific markets and doubling down on the production of CPUs.
