- During the interview with Colleen Morgan local and national education issues were discussed. Topics such as: Student demographics, flexibility of curriculum, implementation of common core, opportunities for professional development, opinion with mandated testing, the use of technology in the classroom, and the relationships with Administration, Staff, Parents, and Students. With her experience as a classroom teacher and department head her responses to local and national education issues are very detailed. She has been working in the education field for over twenty years and continues to reflect upon her classroom management and teaching strategies as an educator. Her passion for History is undeniable as she continues to further her education by being in progress of obtaining her Master’s in History from Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.
