My dissertation research broadly focuses on the geochemical and physical exchange of materials between the Earth’s crust and mantle at convergent margins, and how this drives the compositional diversity observed on the Earth’s surface. I combine traditional petrologic and geochemical studies of natural and experimental high-pressure mafic rocks, with thermodynamic modeling of high-pressure aqueous fluids and mafic-ultramafic lithologies allowing for more complete understanding of fluid-melt-rock interactions.
