The Importance and Integration of the Sport of the Arts in Gilbert Public Schools
Description
In this study on the importance and benefits of colorguard to elementary and middle school students, the 2013 competitive Gilbert Regional winterguard team was studied between January 2013 to the season end in April 2013 as they performed and competed throughout Phoenix and Casa Grande until their final show at WGAZ championships at Grand Canyon University. This study also looks and defines what the core components of a successful competitive unit are: recruitment, performance circuit, and show design.
