Many pathogens are bacteria and antibiotic resistance is increasing. The development of novel treatments is hampered by a poor understanding of the mechanisms of their regulation. Specifically, non-coding RNAs play an important role in the internal regulation of bacteria. To further the investigation of non-coding RNA and pathogenicity, RNA sequencing data for PorX/PorY dependent regulation in P. gingivalis, a Gram negative oral pathogen was studied.
