Peter was seven years old when war broke out in Sudan in 1987.

Juach Juach Akok joined the SPLA and served on the front line for five and a half years.

Daniel was a little boy when the war came to his village. He witnessed people being shot and running for shelter. There was no food or water so he drank urine and ate tree leaves.
