This is an interview with Adrian Macris, an art teacher at Spring High School in Spring, TX. Adrian came to teaching by way of an alternative teacher certification several years after graduating from college with a BFA in Sculpture. She talk about her journey in becoming a teacher, the challenges posed by teaching art to at risk learners, and the relationships between herself and the administration at her school.
