There is no doubt that globalization has been a force in history , and especially in the past one hundred years. This is extremely evident in the implications of global epidemics. The global response to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) revealed tensions between nation states and international health organization such as the World Health Organization) collectively called "Global Health Governance"). The issue was sovereignty. SARS showed us that there was more state-centric resistance to the Post-Westphalian world than previously thought. Where infectious diseases are concerned, however, the eventual compliance of states with the WHO shows reluctant but tacit compliance with international intervention.

The following paper examines the current international code of ethics and customs accompanying global supply chain management. It specifically addresses the legal aspects that contemporary supply chains must consider when conducting business internationally as well as the customary traditions associated with major regions of current trade. In particular, it describes the simultaneously growing and tepid interest in conducting business with the B.R.I.C. (Brazil, Russia, India, and China) countries to supplement the aforementioned topic with a contemporary issue. In particular, it details the amount, if any, of corruption occurring in each country and describes the influence that these practices have and the complications they create on international trade with the United States.

Manchester United and Leeds United are two of the English Premier League’s most popular and historically successful clubs, and together constitute one of English football’s most interesting and inexplicable rivalries. English popular opinion claims that this rivalry is based on the Wars of the Roses and the royal houses of Lancaster and York, so this thesis engages with this idea and analyzes the rivalry's connections to this medieval historical event. Furthermore, the top flight English football league's evolution into the English Premier League brought social and economic changes to the sport, both at a broad and ground level, and this thesis finds out how much these changes affected this rivalry. All in all, this thesis analyzes medieval, social, cultural, and economic historical connections to one of English football's most unique club rivalries.
