                  <dc:description>As urban populations increase and the demand for sustainable city infrastructure grows, food insecurity remains a critical and systematically overlooked issue. Although recent advances in agricultural technology have focused on increasing production through familiar yet evolving technology like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Remote Operating Systems (ROS), and the Internet of Things (IoT), the distribution of harvested food to urban populations remains outdated and inefficient. This thesis investigates the integration of autonomous electric vehicles (EVs), AI-based monitoring, and ROS in the optimization of urban food distribution systems. By shifting the research focus from agricultural production to post-harvest distribution, this study finds a significant gap in existing infrastructure and proposes a systems-level solution to food insecurity in sustainable cities.
