<dc:description>The intention of this project was to develop a device with equivalent functionality to a standard 360° joystick used for video games, which did not require the user to maintain any physical contact with the device itself. The device would instead have the ability to detect the position of the user's hand or arm and instantly translate it into a format that is recognized as a joystick on the user’s PC. Hence, the user is able to input movements to a video game simply by moving their hand and/or arm, and is not required or desired to have any physical contact with the device.</dc:description>
