This is done to not only get an idea of how their field contributes to the work they do but to also understand how their work performances contribute to their expectations. In this project an anonymous survey will be held and sent out to different law enforcement agencies, more specifically first year crime scene investigators and a few questions more directed towards “yes or no” will be asked. In hopes of getting these answers back truthfully I will then weigh out a percentage on the people who did expect this line of work to go and the people who did not expect this line of work to go. There is very little research done on this such as stress, trauma, and productivity within the workplace. My survey will have some questions regarding this however it will go a little more into depth and focus primarily on crime scene investigators since that is the field and career I am aiming for. I don’t believe this type of survey I am doing has been done anywhere else or at least within ASU so I am very interested in seeing the answers I get from these law enforcement agencies.
