<dc:description>Adolescents today face the challenges of increased mental health issues, including depression and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. With the rates of poverty increasing, thus decreasing access to mental health care, and the lack of educational material available, the pre-teen adolescent cohort faces exceptional difficulties. After reviewing the efficacy of interventions presented in past studies, specific techniques were examined to include in a workbook directed toward pre-teen adolescents. This workbook was assembled considering the factors of adolescent attention and needs. It was created to be used in an educational setting, however with no educator training needed. Considering the issue of increased poverty rates, the workbook was created to be easily photocopied to meet the economic restrictions many schools face. The increased mental health needs of children must be addressed, and it must have high priority to ensure the success of this next generation.</dc:description>
