<dc:description>Research in this study focused on whether the effect of music used to prepare sleep for toddler age children impacts their emotional regulation in other situations. The intervention was conducted in a toddler classroom during the before-nap routine. Different musical stimuli were provided during this routine following an A, B, C pattern alternating throughout the week. The emotional regulation of each of the participants was measured each day using a checklist survey containing behaviors regarding emotional regulation. Results showed no effect of treatment. However, future research can be done to focus on the effects of music played at different or additional times of the day, as well as changing who takes the data and how behaviors might be exhibited if items on the survey were specified further.</dc:description>
