<dc:description>Field Trip to Psyche is a storytelling game developed in Unity aimed to educate users on NASA’s Psyche Mission and its importance by simulating the mission from launch to completion. The target audience is anyone that has an interest in further learning about space, whether they are amateurs or experts on astronomy. The game consists of three levels, each containing a varying amount of emphasis on interactivity and information. Through tactical level design, these levels allow the user to learn about the most important details of the Psyche mission while participating in engaging activities in the process. In addition to the implemented Milky Way Galaxy environment, many C# scripts were created to implement key features of the game, such as user-controlled movement, an interactive dialogue system, a coin collection system, a health and damage system, distance tracking, random object field generation, object rotation, object orbits, and UI button functionality. By the end of the user’s experience with the game, they may have an enhanced interest in further researching the Psyche mission and even following along the journey until its completion to get answers on some of the current unknowns being explored in the mission.</dc:description>
