<dc:description>The resources currently available to Arizona State University staff and students surrounding breastfeeding and infant feeding support need improvement. This project highlighted the importance of patient understanding when creating educational material. Three pamphlets were made on the topics of storage of breastmilk, safe bottle feeding, and special feeding considerations with late preterm infants. Health literacy, readability, and micro-learning were considered when creating the patient education material. The suitability of assessment materials (SAM) tool was referenced to appraise the materials developed. This project displays the importance of readability, health literacy, and the layout of educational materials to consumer understanding. The educational material will be disseminated at the Arizona State University Breastfeeding and Infant Feeding Center.</dc:description>
