<dc:description>Pitchfork Packages is a business my group and I created to help students at ASU, especially freshmen, get easier access to essentials, snacks, and comfort items. We realized that many students don’t have cars on campus and often struggle to get to stores like Walmart, Fry's, and Target. At the same time, we saw that parents want to send care packages to their kids, but most of the existing options are expensive, impersonal, and not customizable. So, we built a solution that’s personal, affordable, and made specifically for the ASU community.

Through our website, customers can build fully customized care packages by choosing from a wide variety of items, including snacks, hygiene products, school supplies, and themed gifts. Once an order is placed, we shop for the items, hand-assemble each package in a wicker basket, and deliver them directly to dorms or nearby student housing every Sunday. What makes our service stand out is that it’s completely student-run, hyper-local, and focused on personalization—something big-name companies just can’t offer. We’ve had a lot of success by combining in-person marketing around campus with word-of-mouth and social media, and we’re proud of the impact it’s had so far.</dc:description>
