<dc:description>There are a large amount of laws governing religion in the United States and these laws have been developed in a culture of Christian thought and religion. As such these laws are mainly applicable to these religions and often exclude religious beliefs from around the world that do not fall into this category. The subject of the paper Sun Meadow Temple is a new Pagan temple that faced these problems during their establishment procedures and serves as an example for minority religions. Using previous research done on Paganism and its origins, how religious groups operate, and the legal requirements for religious organizations, this paper examines this process and the exclusion or forced conformity of minority religions by walking through the setup and operation of a Pagan temple.
