Through qualitative interviews with students primarily at Arizona State University and at University of Pennsylvania, the study explores the perspectives of students regarding their university life. While findings reveal significant gaps in existing disability services and infrastructure, the lack of representation and awareness leads to intentional and unintentional social exclusion at universities. The framework calls for action in the following components: Awareness, Education and Training; Disability Services; Representation and Leadership; Inclusive Event Planning; Accessibility of the Built Environment; Transportation and Off-Campus Access; Promotion of Disability Support Programs; and, Surveillance and Improvement.
