Description
Despite theoretical models predicting that signals should only evolve if they convey honest information, dishonest signals may persist. Interestingly, crustaceans have been crucial in furthering biologists understanding of how and why dishonest signals persist; because many crustaceans wield claws that function as dishonest signals.
