Chunyao Liu is an Assistant Professor of Interior Design in The Design School at Arizona State University. She is a scholar of the history and preservation of the interior environment. With an interdisciplinary background spanning architecture, historic preservation, and interior design, her research focuses on cross-cultural interactions in historic interiors, transnational approaches to preservation and adaptive reuse, and the relationships between fashion, interiors, and heritage.
